There is no fee to sit down with us to discuss your goals and ambitions relative to the potential sale of your business. We will meet with you to review your business operationally and financially to determine whether or not your goals can be supported by the sale of your business. We will then figure in market realities to determine whether your sales ambitions are in sync with what the market can support.

If the time is not right, we will continue to communicate with you over time until the market is able to support your goals in selling your business. If all factors can be met favorably, we will begin our market analysis of your business to determine a fair market value.

Business Market Analysis

Polimeno Business Sales is in business to sell businesses. In order to do that within a timeframe that is acceptable to you, your business must be priced accurately. We will meet with you and your representatives extensively to review your business operations, physical plant, lease arrangements, financials, marketing strategies, and management models. We will then assimilate that information into a report, comparing your business with as many other similar, sold businesses as possible, contained within our extensive databases. Polimeno Realty will then present its opinion of value for your business based upon gross revenues, discretionary earnings, capital assets, lease realities, and real estate values. All aspects of our opinions of value are well documented and presented in a manner which is both clear and concise.

Upon the conclusion of our opinion of value presentation, you will be ready to take your business to the marketplace.

Business Sales Brokerage

Once the value and listing price of your business has been determined, Polimeno Business Sales will prepare your business for the marketplace. A complete listing package is created, showcasing all of the selling points of your business including operational strengths, staffing needs, asset descriptions, inventories, capital requirements, competition, history, future potential, geographical market analyses, and other pertinent information. Also, a complete financial report including profit and loss statements, cash flow analysis, expense analysis, and recasting to determine Seller's Discretionary Earnings are created to be contained as part of the full listing package presentation. This information is made available to buyers only after they have signed a Confidentiality Agreement.

The creation of the full listing package and financial analysis in determining value is extremely time consuming, but is an integral part of the business sales process. Polimeno Business Sales does not charge an upfront fee to create this valuation package; however, if the package is created and a Seller then decides not to list the business with Polimeno Business Sales, a $1500 fee will apply. Polimeno Business Sales is in business to sell businesses, not just to determine the value of businesses.

Once the full listing package for your business has been created, Polimeno Business Sales will bring your business to the marketplace by creating a marketing plan designed exclusively for your business. We will always only represent you as your seller agent ... we do not practice dual agency so you can always rest assured that we are only representing your interests.

The confidentiality of your listing is of the utmost importance to us. All potential buyers will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement before having any information about your business shared with them. All aspects of the marketing, showing, sharing of information, performance of due diligence and correspondence relative to the sale of your business remains confidential.
